2000 7.3 high pressure oil lines

The injection pressure regulator (controlled by the PCM) is responsible for creating injection pressures in a range of 450 to 3,000 psi on 7.3L engines, and 450 to 3,600 psi on 6.0L Power Strokes.

One of the main ways to increase power is to get more air into the engine as efficiently as possible. However, that air also has to exit the engine efficiently. That's where 7.3L Power Stroke exhaust mods come into play. An exhaust system will reduce back-pressure which helps increase power and reduce turbo spool time.

The 7.3L Powerstroke engine, made by International Navistar, was introduced to Ford Heavy Duty trucks. The 7.3L Powerstroke Diesel engine provided significantly better performance specifications than its 6.9L IDI and 7.3L predecessors.
