Offered in 2500 and 3500 form, a 410-horsepower, 6.4-liter V-8 engine paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission is standard, while a Cummins turbo-diesel 6.7-liter inline-six that makes 370 or 420 hp and a six-speed automatic is available. The diesel engine makes as much as 1,075 pounds-feet of torque in the 3500. Rear-wheel drive is standard, and four-wheel drive is optional.

Chrysler’s Uconnect 5 multimedia system has been added to Big Horn and higher trim levels. There’s a new Silver Edition for Big Horn and Lone Star trims, and new available camera features for towing let the driver see what’s behind a trailer using the rearview camera mirror and get a 360-degree view of only the trailer.
