3 piece sleeper sectional with storage chaise

Love this Unique Sleeper SofaKaylahThis piece is super comfortable and we love that it isn’t your standard pullout sleeper. The chaise storage holds a lot of blankets/linens and the trundle works smoothly. We put it together ourselves and it wasn’t too difficult.5

Dark grey couch with storage.MaryCouch looks great and is comfortable. The storage area is huge for extra blankets and pillows. The price was fair for the product. My husband assembled by himself and said it was easy.5

Lasts only an year or twoSAURABH H.Perfect example of how by trying to spend less money you end up spending more. The upholstery on this couch is so low quality that it starts looking like a curb reject within about an year of frequent use. I know at least 2 other friends who got this couch in different fabrics and they all had the same issue of pilling and general worn out appearance. You can have this piece in a part of your place where you are rarely going to sit and you need a bed sometimes for an extra guest. Don't buy it for regular use, $800 down the drain in 1 year. The frame itself isn't falling apart though and does not creak or anything(typical IKEA functionality), the pull out mechanism has been working well.2

Great occasional sofaLeslie F.Took an hour to assemble, it was straightforward. Great sofa for our extra room bed occasional guests for sleeping. The fabric is great and the seat feels deep enough. Very happy with it5

Still hard as a rock after 5 years of daily useBARBARA H.We've had this "sofabed" since 2017 which we use daily in our den. It's still very firm and uncomfortable and we should have returned it back then but we thought it would get softer. We were wrong. As a sofabed, it's even worse. First of all, you cannot fit a sheet on it and there are gaps between the sections that you feel all night long so you wake up feeling like the Princess and the Pea. We cannot use it as a sofabed. Last but not least, the fabric is super warm. We might need to order a cotton cover online for it (or we might donate it and replace it with an Uppland). Only redeeming quality: the storage. We're very disappointed with it and frankly surprised that Ikea sells this because we love Ikea.1

Your money's worthRamiroThis sofa bed is really nice and well put together. The feet really spreads the weight out and the sofa is comfortable.5

Design defectsEsther L.It's nearly impossible to put a fitted sheet because two of the corners don't have the space for it. Also, it's quite uncomfortable to sleep over the gap that forms between the part that comes out and the side part. I hope IKEA solves these issues some day, because other than that it could be a good affordable sofa bed.2

Ehh… it is comfortable and convenient but the lifting lounger doesn’t sit correctly therefore falling into the storage cubbyAnthony H.Love our sectional! It is comfortable and big enough. The assembly is actually rather simple to put together, even by yourself. The storage compartment of the lounge is so convenient for quick reach of blankets or games! Our only complaint is that it doesn’t sit correctly :( the corner of the lounge in the back is CONSTANTLY slipping down and falling in toward the storage compartment slightly. It makes the bed highly uncomfortable and you can feel the crease between the two portions. It is stiff and rigid because the corner has fallen down. I’ve tried to look at and examine the construction thinking I put it together wrong but I didn’t. That section came completed already.3

Avoid like the plague. Go somewhere else.Tristan A.I would suggest you avoid spending $1000 on this if possible. Assembly is going to be a challenge regardless if you are doing it by yourself or with someone. Specifically for me, I felt that the build quality is atrocious. The grey velcro for the longer part of the sectional is not long enough to stick. The stitching looks shoddy. Screw placement is infuriating. Specifically, the wheels that are needed for pulling the bed out. It's evident that the creators did not think things through. The metal that is underneath the wheel is too short to place the screws in so you have to awkwardly angle the screwdriver and your hand. It's a frustrating experience because all Ikea can say is that they are sorry to read a negative review and that we can return it. I want you to make a better product and stop wasting people's hard-earned money. Avoid this. It's all a gimmick.1

Springs come off regularlyJose C.The couch itself is nice and has an aesthetic look, but the springs come off regularly (at least 1 spring comes off every week). You can put them back on with no issues, but I really wish IKEA would have actually tested the couch before selling it. They could have easily found this issue under normal testing conditions.3

Comfortable and firmJACKThis sofabed is surprisingly comfortable and firm. Assembly wasn't difficult.5

Impossible assemblyLucas K.About 2.5 hours in I find myself at the part where I have to screw in the wheels for the pull out sofa part. These screws included to screw in the wheels at the bottom are literally impossible to screw all the way causing the wheels to be wobbly. Extremely frustrating that I am at one of the last parts of the assembly and am running into this. I have never thought to write a review for anything but this was really frustrating and buyers should know.1

Design DefectJeremy K.The far side panel by the sleeper (on the left of the store photo) is only attached with screws at the top. The bottom simply has a metal dowel. It seems great at first, but with no strong attachment at the bottom, the panel starts to gradually flex out, quickly making the sofa a broken pile of trash. Mine flexed within a couple of months of extremely light usage in a seldom used basement. I would not recommend buying this item.1
