  • We enjoyed Universal but did experience some long wait times. If you have the budget for it, definitely purchase the express pass. You can pack a few more attractions into your day. Our only criticism is that the food and drink are expensive. Four beers and a soda was about $65. We recommend eating a big meal before you go, have a meal midday at the park, and enjoy your wine and beer somewhere else. Overall, we had a great time!

  • Gets very busy in the afternoon. Arrive early to access rides without fast pass. Harry Potter world and ride is amazing. Plus The Mummy and The Simpsons are great fun. The new Jurassic World ride is fun, prepare to get wet !!!

  • Way too crowded, as expensive as it is, it would behoove you to save and purchase the Fast Pass. We didn't get a chance to ride two of the attractions we came for due to long waits. 3 hour Jurassic Park ride and 2 hour for Harry Potter ride. Average wait time for all other attractions was 60 mins to 90 mins.

  • After going to Disney, was disappointed. Found it very expensive for a family of four. Kids enjoyed the rides, I didn't. Food was overpriced, kids didn't even want to eat their food and not a lot of places to sit and eat. Long waits even though we paid for the Unlimited Express tickets. We all enjoyed the Waterworld show. Park closes at 6pm, which was pretty early considering it cost us over $1000 CAD for 1 day. Enjoyed the view of the valley, however.

  • There is not many rides so VIP ticket may not be necessary. However we had to wait nearly 1 hour for studio tour on very quiet day so if you do not want to wait at all, VIP ticket make sense. Also the studio tour may be cancelled on rainy day so be careful!

  • Stay at the Hilton. Buy the flex pass. Take healthy snacks in with you! Everything has a line and is super greasy. Not like Disneyland where there is some nicer restaurant options for food. It’s all fast food. There is several Starbucks in there.
