Bring your own phone to Straight Talk with Straight Talk SIM and save thousands on your cell phone bill.

Want to get unlimited talk, texting and data on Straight Talk or Net 10 for $45 a month?

You can keep your existing phone and take it to Straight Talk or Net 10 to get great service at a great price. You’ll still use the towers of AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile and Sprint, but you’ll pay Straight Talk instead of your current carrier (even though you’re still using their towers).

Below we will tell you which phones you can use and which plans you can pick from.

Be sure to read the details, as just being on the list below is not good enough – your phone must also be unlocked or locked to postpaid Verizon, AT&T, Sprint or T-Mobile.

Also, if your phone is not on the list below it may still work if it is unlocked or locked to postpaid Verizon, AT&T, Sprint or T-Mobile. This is not an exhaustive list of all phones that work.

Buying a New or Used Phone for Straight Talk SIM Bring Your Own Phone

If you are looking to get a phone for use with Straight Talk’s Bring Your Own Phone program, here’s what I would recommend:

Your best bet is going to be to look for a true unlocked phone, one that was unlocked from the beginning. Use any of the links above to find unlocked versions of those phones.

However – you may also be able to save some money by buying a used, locked phone from Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile or Sprint. Only buy a locked phone on these carriers, any other locked phone will not work!

Check Frequency Check if you have one of these types of phones, to verify that it will work on the network that you wish to use on Straight Talk.

Can I use Straight Talk phone with T

Straight talk SIM Card will only work with an AT&T or T-mobile compatible or unlocked GSM phone. To activate your service, you will need a Straight Talk Unlimited 30-day Service Plan Card for activation. Some data services may not be available with all wireless devices. ...

How do I switch from T

You can transfer (port) your current phone number to Straight Talk by going to www.straighttalk.com/activate. From there, follow the steps on the screen. Mobile phone transfers can take as long as 2 business days to complete, but in most cases, only takes a few hours.

Are T

Generally T-Mobile devices will come carrier locked to the T-Mobile network so you cannot use it with a sim card from another provider. Depending on the make and model, you will either require an unlock code, or unlock the device on the back end (iPhones and devices with preinstalled T-Mobile Unlock Apps).
