ICE SKATING FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS How much does it cost to skate? The cost is $5 per person per 30-minute skate session and includes skate rental. If you bring your own skates, the price remains $5 per person per 30-minutes skate session. Is there a limit to how many people can skate? Yes, to ensure that everyone has a great time and space to skate, there is a limit of 25 people per 30-minute skate session. When is the rink open? The rink is open December 2nd through 30th, but will be closed on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. The hours are: Monday-Thursday, 5-9 pm Friday, 5-10 pm Saturday, 1-10 pm Sunday, 1-9 pm Can I book the rink for a private event? No, unfortunately we are unable to offer private bookings. Can I purchase my skate time in advance or call ahead to schedule a time? No, skating tickets will be sold first come, first served, each day with a limited availability for each time slot. The earliest ticket will be sold 30 minutes before the rink opens. Will there be food vendors on site? You can purchase hot chocolate, water, cookies, and popcorn at the rink, but no food is permitted on the “ice.” For additional food options, explore Downtown Prattville and its restaurants and coffee shops. Are there restrooms available? Yes! Restrooms will be on site in a heated and cooled portable toilet facility. Is the ice real? No, the ice is a synthetic material with a special coating which allows skaters to glide across the surface. How old do I have to be to skate? Children ages 5 and older are permitted on the ice, but skaters under 7 years old will need an adult to skate with them. You may not carry children or anyone else on the “ice.” If you are under the age of 18, you will need a parent or legal guardian to complete your skating waiver. What do I wear to skate? Please bring tall socks to wear under your skates. Socks are required to skate. Other than socks, dress for the weather as the rink is outdoors. Do you offer lockers to store my belongings? No, please leave backpacks, purses, shopping bags, and other items in your locked vehicle or with a trusted adult who is not skating. We are not responsible for items left unattended. Where is the rink located? The rink is located on Court Street near the iconic Musgrove Fountain at Heritage Park. Look for the 30+ foot tall Christmas tree. What should I expect upon arrival at the rink? When you arrive, locate the skate rental tent where our team members will assist you. You will need to complete a waiver for each person who is skating. Please be sure to have a parent or legal guardian on hand to complete a waiver for any minor under the age of 18. Our team will let you know when to enter the skating lobby to get your skates. Please listen for an announcement over the intercom for your skate group to begin preparing to skate. If there are not skates available in your size before the group that is skating exits the ice, team members will work quickly to sanitize the skates and get your correct skates as soon as possible. When your time is up on the ice, please exit the ice and remove your skates to be sanitized for the next group. How much is winter village Tampa?Individual Tickets: $17.00 All ages. Tickets include ice skate rental. Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. All hours are subject to weather and rink conditions.
Do you have to book Rockefeller ice skating?General admission tickets will go on sale this fall and will be available to purchase in advance online. In addition to a ticket, each guest must reserve a date and time in order to limit the number of skaters on the ice at one time.
Is there ice skating at Christmas Wonderland?Tickets to the Ice Palace attractions must be used with a valid general admission ticket. Entry to Ice Palace are for Ice Skating Rink ticketholders, Ice Slide ticketholders and Snow Playground ticketholders ONLY.
