Contra costa county mental health crisis line

This 24-hour hotline provides access to and referrals within the Contra Costa County behavioral health system. Callers must have or be eligible for Medi-Cal or other public health coverage in order to access county services, and may use this line as an initial step for enrollment in the Contra Costa Health Plan.

Callers will complete an intake assessment on their initial call.

Suicide-related and other crisis calls will be forwarded to one of Contra Costa County's two crisis hotlines.

During the school closures, there has been a need for continued mental health counseling services. Here are some resources that can be used if you know of someone in need.

  1. In case of a life-threatening emergency, please call 911 for immediate assistance
  2. Dial 211 - Immediate support if a family is in crisis
