A Unicorn Toilet Paper Cover may seem like a silly make, but I just couldn’t resists! Do you remember the crochet toilet paper covers? Did (or do) you have one?

I grew up in a family full of crocheters, so I’ve seen my fair share of them. I will admit I never really understood the attraction to them… until now!

With toilet paper being a hot commodity at this time, I thought it would be funny to make this cute Unicorn Toilet Paper Cover to add some personality to your bathroom!

I have to say, I do chuckle often when I see it. I’ve even considered elongating the arms, so I can make it hold Poo-pourri! Haha!

Here’s how to make your own Unicorn Toilet Paper Cover:

Gauge

14 sc x 17 rows = 4″

Sizes

Fits all toilet paper roll sizes

Stitch Guide

arnd = around
BLO = back loop only
ch = chain
sc = single crochet
sl st(s) = slip stitch(es)
st(s) = stitch(es)

Notes

  • Beginning chains do not count as stitches.
  • This pattern is worked from the top-down in the round. Only join where indicated.
  • Measure across the top of your toilet paper roll for accurate sizing. You should stop making the base top when it appears just a tad too small (it won’t be!).
  • Make the unicorn “arms” longer and attach the hooves together, so it can hold travel size disinfectant sprays or “Poo-pourri“.
  • Wire can be added to the arms and legs to allow for posing.
  • Consider adding stars or hearts to it’s chest for an extra touch of whimsy!
