Wyoming, Arizona, California, Oregon, Washington, New Mexico, Texas for ease of Transportation, we are not limited to these states. Doxies have been in our own family for over 30 years. We breed Miniature Shaded English Creams and ee Clear Cream " Tweens," or small standard. Their temperaments build and long-haired coats are why we especially love the Clear Cream and Shaded English Cream Dachshunds. |
Producing a Good Family Pet Is #1Dachshunds are a very popular breed. Their fun-loving play and personalities are sure to win you over. If you're thinking of adopting, add another puppy to the mix for double or triple the fun. After all, Doxies are pack animals and love to have a buddy close by to run and play with and then cuddle up with at night. We have many return clients adding a 2nd, 3rd or even 4th dog to their family as time goes on. We have carefully chosen our dogs and take our job as a small home breeder to heart. To ensure the health of our puppies, we stay in close contact with our veterinarian during pregnancies. Once the puppies arrive, we will visit the Veterinarian 3 times before they are ready to be placed in your care. We strive to have happy, healthy puppies. |
We are committed to finding quality and loving homes for our Doxies and providing them and their owners with lifetime support. However, if, for some reason, you're not able to keep your dog in its lifetime, please contact us, and we will take it back with no questions asked or work with you to re-home our dogs.
We offer cradle-to-grave servicesas we never want to see one of our precious pets in a dog pound. With 9 weeks worth of training they are worth the wait. With nine weeks of training in my home before placement, they are worth the wait!

Description
There are three varieties of Dachshund — the shorthaired, the wirehaired and the longhaired. The Dachshund’s body is longer than it is tall, which is where it gets its nickname ‘Wiener-Dog.’ The Dachshund is a small scenthound with short legs and a distinctively elongated body.This breed was originally bred to hunt, track and retrieve burrow dwelling animals. Today it is one of the most popular breeds in the U.S. Dachshunds adapt nicely to apartment living or city life because they are so small. However, they still need daily exercise and opportunities to burn off energy. This breed especially appreciates a good game of catch. Dachshund Disposition
Dachshunds are daring, adventurous and fond of digging, hunting, chasing game and tracking by scent — a true combination of terrier and hound. They do not have a whole lot of patience when it comes to being mishandled, so while they are playful with children, adults should supervise this relationship until and unless the dog is fully trained. They also do not like spending time alone. The breed does well with strangers but can be reserved, shy and may sometimes snarl at those with whom they are unfamiliar. Dachshunds make ideal watchdogs (despite their size and stature) because if they recognize what appears to be an attack or threat on their family members, the Dachshund is unreservedly quick to defend against danger.
