"When I first came to Behavioral Hospital of Bellaire, I didn’t want to eat, couldn’t breathe deeply and felt horrible. I couldn’t put a finger on anything. And when I consulted with my doctor we talked about my issues and he diagnosed me with Caregiver fatigue and started me on medications and virtually within 24 hours, I felt completely different and I continue to get better every day. Therapeutic Groups were good. I would recommend this facility to someone needing help. There is help out there…"

"My experience with The Behavioral Hospital of Bellaire: Was Fantastic!! The food, the atmosphere, the techs, and doctors; were phenomenal. The family sessions I had were very heart-related; and spoke to my soul. The care that was given was more of a family-type. I started off very isolated, scared and fragile. With the help of the techs, nurses, therapist and my Doctor started to feel more at home and became med compliant. My doctor was pushy at first and now I know why."

"First off, when I got here, I was a mess. I had just started taken an anti-depressant medicine and after a few days, I stopped being able to sleep. After the third night of not being able to sleep, I went to the emergency room for help, Well the emergency room felt I was not sick enough for any medicines, but they did ask me if I wanted to check myself into the Behavioral Hospital of Bellaire. I immediately jumped at the chance to go to a place that is dedicated to helping people who were in struggling as I was. Since I arrived Saturday, the staff has been great in helping me get my feet back on the ground. They diagnosed that I was given the wrong medicine and as soon as my doctor changed my medicine and gave me something to sleep, I started to feel like a new person. My doctor and his staff are caring, funny, but dead serious about wanting to help people. The food is great, nurses and staff members are thoughtful and helpful.
