Forgot your Instagram password? Don’t worry! This post shows you three easy ways to recover your password for Instagram, and alternative tip to never forget your Instagram password again.

1. How can I never forget my Instagram password again

2. Recover Instagram password with email address
As most of your Instagram accounts are signed up with Email address, you can easily recover your Instagram password using your email address. To do so:
1) Open Instagram app in your phone or computer, and you should see the Sign In screen.
2) Tap Forgot password? on the screen.
3) You’ll see the screen of Trouble logging in?, Tap Username, and make sure your Instagram name is correct.
4) Tap Send Login Link.
5) Instagram will send a link to your email address to reset password for your Instagram account.
Note that if you don’t have access to that email address anymore, you can try Recover Instagram with phone number or Retrieve Instagram with Facebook account, or else you need to contact your email service provider to get access to that email account.
6) Now go to check your email address inbox (or Spam if you don’t receive the email), and click Reset your Instagram password.
Note that if you want to log in your Instagram without resetting password, you can click Log in as your username.
7) You’ll be redirected to the browser in your device, type your New password and New password confirmation, then click Reset Password to finish.
Make sure to use a password that is strong to not being hacked while is easy for you to remember.
8) After resetting, you can now go to the Instagram app in your device, and log in with the new password.

3. Recover Instagram password with phone number
If you have linked your Instagram account with your phone number, you can also use your phone number to reset Instagram password. To do so:
1) Open Instagram app in your phone or computer, and you should see the Sign In screen.
2) Tap Forgot password? on the screen.
3) You’ll see the screen of Trouble logging in?, then tap Phone, and make sure your phone number is correct.
4) Tap Send Login Link.
5) Instagram will send you a text message with a Login Link to your phone number.
6) Go to the Message app in your phone, and tap the link following the text body: Tap to get back into your Instagram account.
If you’re using an Android device, you’ll be able to tap the link to reset your Instagram password, then you can log in with your new Instagram password.
7) You’ll be able to open your Instagram.
Kindly note that if you don’t have access to reset password for your Instagram account, you should go to your Instagram profile > Edit Profile > Change your Email address in Private Information.

4. Retrieve Instagram with Facebook account
Don’t panic if you lost your Instagram password. You can also retrieve your Instagram account with your Facebook account, as many people have linked their Instagram account with their Facebook account. To do so:
1) Open Instagram app in your phone or computer, and you should see the Sign In screen.
2) Tap Forgot password? on the screen.
3) You’ll see the screen of Trouble logging in?, then tap Continue as your Facebook name.
4) You’ll be redirected to open your Instagram application.
Kindly note that if you don’t have access to reset password for your Instagram account, you should go to your Instagram profile > Edit Profile > Change your Email address in Private Information. So you can reset your Instagram password if you need to.
