How much does it cost to fix apple screen

Q1: Can I replace an iPhone screen when the phone is bent?

We may not successfully fix the screen when the iPhone is bent. This is due to the apparent reason that a new screen can only fit if an even surface. For the screen to properly bond, the iPhone has to be flat.

Q2: Can dents hinder screen replacement?

Some dents may affect iPhone screen replacements, but others don’t. For instance, large dents may interfere with the new screen installation.

Q3: My iPhone has a damaged screen and glass back. What are my options?

In such a case, the best thing to do is to ensure that you replace everything. This option is quite expensive, but it is the most effective way of solving the problem. The second option is only to replace the screen. But if you choose this option, cracks in the glass back (if any) will continue increasing, which means that you will have to replace it in the long run.

Q4: How long does it take to repair an iPhone screen?

If your iPhone does not have any additional issues, it can take as little as 2 hours for repairs in our shop.

Q5: How much does it cost to repair an iPhone glass back in an Apple Service Center?

Generally, repairing an iPhone at an Apple service Centre attracts more charges. This is because;

  • The rear panel of an iPhone X is completely fixed. This makes it difficult to replace the retina. Nevertheless, it is possible to replace it without dismantling biometric face ID hardware.
  • Since the back-camera component is completely bonded, replacing the screen is even more difficult. The back glass of the iPhone 4, for instance, is fused in an extremely thin metal plate on top of a frame. If a little mistake is made, the iPhone will end up getting ruined.
  • iPhone X camera bump also lies on top of the rear glass. It is therefore tricky (not advisable in fact) to replace a broken back panel. This is because scraping out the glass is not that easy.

Based on these reasons, it can take up to $115 to repair a glass back of the iPhone X in an Apple Service Centre. During the repairs, utmost care is considered since a little crack can make the whole gadget useless.

Q6: Why work with us instead?

Rather than spending too much on repairing the iPhone at an Apple Service Center, visit our shop at location, and we can guarantee you efficient repairs at a very affordable cost. Beside iPhone repair we also provide macbook repair and iPad repair, we are the second apply provide service place.

Q7: Do I have to delete my data before taking my phone for repairs?

This depends on the part to be fixed. It is, however, important to back up your contacts, messages, applications and photos. This will help prevent unnecessary data loss in case of factory reset, which is usually required when there is a software or motherboard issue.  Here is how you can reset your iPhone to factory settings;

  • Go to settings>general>reset
  • Select erase all content and setting
  • Type your passcode then erase iPhone
