Show I was trying to watch Sing 2 on my Apple TV but when I was watching it, there was a narrator describing everything in the movie. I’ve read online about this and it says To turn off Audio Description, but I don’t see audio description is my settings. I’ve noticed that it only applies to Sing 2 since when I tried a different movie, there wasn’t a narrator. I think my Apple TV is an older model since it’s pretty laggy it seems. Someone help level 1 If you are watching via the Apple TV app, It very well could be an issue with the wrong file being uploaded. This happened to me this month with a iTunes Season Pass episode of Claws and Apple’s “Media Partner” uploaded the AD file as the “default” one. Reaching out to Apple Support can be a headache because nobody knows who to transfer you to. I have had a ton of issues with wrong files being uploaded and have a direct contact email should Apple Support not be able to help you. level 2 This must be true but on my iPhone I download it and then I tried to project it to the TV (every way imaginable)and it still had AD stuck. Even though on the iPhone it did not play with AD. level 1 Holy crap! I just rented sing 2 and cant remove the fucking narrator. I even have the accessibility options turned off. Its now doing it on other movies. Its terrible. level 1 What app are you using? Some apps work differently but in general, while the content is playing click pause then click down and you should see a menu at the top. Within that menu you should have controls for subtitles and audio. level 2 I’m using the Apple TV App on my iPhone onto my Apple TV thats connected to my TV. I think it’s bc it’s an older model that doesn’t have the audio description level 1 Your audio language is probably set to one like English AD, set it back to english and you should be fine level 2 I’ve tried that, it didn’t work level 1 We have the same exact issue tonight with renting Sing 2. None of our other Apple library movies have this issue. Apple tech support had me update software, then reset to factory settings, then a bunch of trial and error. They don’t have a fix. level 2 Yep, I wasted too much time, but not with apple… level 1 Always start by asking Siri to do it. “Turn (on/off) close captioning”, etc. level 1 For anyone new coming here with this problem, logging out and logging in to a new profile will get rid of this. level 2 Yes it’s off. Also tried turning it on then turning it off with no avail level 2 It’s the movie not your settings level 1 It only worked on my iPhone without AD. I know where the settings are, they don’t work. The only way to not have AD is to listen to it in French or Spanish😡 I bet There is no fix, just request a credit once it’s not pending. Spent way too much time on this!!!
