What you need to unlock iPhone 8 Or 8 Plus

The iPhone  8 and 8 Plus are largely similar to that of their predecessors, except for the addition of a glass back to allow inductive charging. They also enjoy a faster processor, and improved cameras and displays. Interestingly, iPhone 8 and 8 Plus share most of their internal hardware with the newer iPhone X.

If you bought the phone new and want to have it unlocked by your carrier then normally you have to meet the following conditions:

  • It must be paid off in full with no outstanding debts, and
  • it must not be reported stolen.

If you bought the phone second-hand and want to have it unlocked by your carrier then you have to meet the same conditions listed above, and also have the original account holder’s details. This allows the carrier to check there are no outstanding debts against the device in your, or the original owner’s name.

If there are any outstanding payments due against the iPhone 8 the carrier will not unlock it. Instead, you can use a third-party company to carrier unlock your device.

How to unlock iPhone 8 Or 8 Plus from any network

If you can’t ask your carrier to unlock your iPhone, the best solution is to use a third-party unlocking service. They can unlock your device from any network provider in the world.

  2. R-SIM unlocking is unreliable and can damage your phone and is unsuitable.
  3. Only 1 unlocking method works effectively, is often free, and is recommended by Apple. That method is carrier unlocking.
  4. Apple can’t unlock your iPhone, only your carrier or third-party service can.
  5. Your own carrier may refuse to unlock your iPhone if you don’t meet certain conditions such as being with them for 6 months, having no outstanding debt, and being the original owner.
  6. Third-party unlockers can unlock your device without conditions, although the quality of service varies greatly between them so only use a recommended supplier.
