What is the entry-level Software Engineer salary for Lockheed Martin?
I’ve tried looking at online resources like Glassdoor and Levels.fyi, but they don’t have much data for Orlando and the numbers seem to vary greatly. I’m really looking to hear from someone who started at entry level themselves or knows someone else that did.

My old roommate and his brother work at Lockheed and fresh out of college they were both thrown offers of $65k-$70k. My roommate countered with just under $75k and they accepted it.
Edit: Didn’t see the software engineer part; my old roommate has an electrical engineering degree and did an internship with them over a summer and his manager helped spread his resume around the company for a fit. His brother has an aerospace engineering degree but was hired as a mechanical engineer.

It was 55k in 2019. I'd assume it's in the 60-70k range starting, with no experience.

Yikes. I got a 62k offer with no experience back in 2011, and I was a Mechanical Engineer with only a single internship. Crazy that the starting salary isn't keeping up with inflation.

I’m not sure what she started out at (she’s sleeping so I can’t ask) but my GF crossed the 100K mark after about 4 years with the company as a software engineer.

That would be my goal. Do you know what she started at? What was the climb to 100k like? Did she stay in the same role the whole time?

Idk how much has changed in the last 5 years or so but I started entry SE there and I believe the offer was in the 60s and I got laid off a couple years later in the low 70s. I've also seen lower and higher numbers so mileage may vary based on a lot of factors. Always negotiate and try to push them higher regardless

I was offered 75 as an EE, I think the SWs make something like 75-80 as asc. They recently (<2-3 years?) updated their salaries for level 1s to be more in line with reality IIRC

Do you start as an associate even if you intern with them first? When do you become a “software engineer” instead of a “software engineer associate”?

Friend was offered 77k a couple years ago. He had a bit of experience as an intern beforehand.

I started at 73k, up to 78k after a year. Software Engineer. Doing CWEP put my foot in the door and allowed me to transition into a job after I graduated.

Was offered 64k as a systems engineer straight out of graduation back in December 2018. Software engineers are on a higher paygrade, so at that time, an entry level SW engineer would get offered around 70k. Although with todays economy, probably higher.
