Found this Complete C2 Turbo Team at Costco . It’s selling for $499.99 which will save me around $200?

Wondering if Costco is an authorized retailer & how this C2 will work in a 2500+ sq ft low-pile / hardwood combo flooring.

To my understanding, I would need to still need purchase a power head for carpet, right?

How good of a “deal” is this as I know Miele comes with several different configurations. ?

This is a great deal! This is based off of the previous top spec Miele model, and the turbo head I find I suitable for everything up to low pile carpet 😀

We were initially looking at the Brilliant, but realized it may be a bit overkill for our needs. So paying a third of the price for a suitable machine makes more sense haha

Looks like this is a good fit for us. If we were to change carpets to shag or a high pile carpet later on, we would probably have to purchase the power head later on right?

Outside of the bells and whistles like the led light, handle control, additional cord length, am I missing any other features by going with this model (from Brilliant). I’m primarily interested in performance differences and lifetime differences.

I wouldn't worry about whether Costco is an authorized retailer, considering the length of Miele's warranties.

This is the old S5 (2005-2013), which came before the S8/C3.

Or.... spend $470-$490 for a SEBO K2 with the turbo brush and buy it from a local mom-and-pop shop AND get a 10 year warranty on it. Purchasing from Costco? Good luck on it when something breaks down.

Miele parts are very difficult to get here in the U.S. right now. SEBO - completely made in Germany/Europe with zero supply line issues.

Noted. Heard SEBO > Miele just for the ease of repairs. Costco has decent customer service so was hoping that could save us if worse came to worse.

Do you know a bit about Sebos? Was also looking at the D4. But wasn’t sure if it was overkill for our needs vs the K3 & E3. Outside of the large bag & cord, does it really add much in terms of performance?
