Alabama Adventure & Splash Adventure is where you want to be to have fun in the sun. It has slides, a lazy river and even a laser tag maze. During select times of the year, it even has a wild west dive show and aquatics stunt show.It’s open from 10:30 am-7:00 pm and tickets are $39.99.

Alaska

Anchorage, AK

Believe it or not, Alaska does have one waterpark: H2oasis Indoor Waterpark. It describes itself as Alaska’s largest water park because it’s the only one in the state! It has a pirate-themed kids’ play area, a 575-foot lazy river and much more. Kids 3 years old – 12 are $19.99 and everyone else is $14.99. The hours vary by day, so check out their website to see what they are the day you’re planning to go.

Fairbanks, AK

While Alaska does only have one water park, it does also have one place where you can find a heated pool in the state. It’s called Chena Hot Springs Resort and is about an hour from Fairbanks. It’s a great place to go to escape the chilly weather and soak in a 90 degrees heated pool. Check out its website for price packages.

Arizona

Glendale, AZ

With rafting rides, slides and a kid-sized water park, what’s not to love about Hurricane Harbor Phoenix? It’s the perfect place to go to cool off from the hot Arizona sun during the week and on weekends. Tickets are $42.11 and the park opens at 10:30 am.

Yuma, AZ

Waylon’s Water World is open Thursday through Sunday. The outdoor water park is home to tons of fun slides, including the Red Racer and Big Bowl, as well as has a relaxing lazy river and mat racer if you are feeling competitive. Hot Springs, AK

Only about 50 miles from Little Rock is Magic Springs. It’s a fun water park for every age and a great way to beat the heat.
