Is the Florida Class E knowledge exam the permit test?To get your learner's license in Florida, you must pass the Florida learner's permit test (also known as the Class E Knowledge Exam).
How long is the Florida Class E knowledge exam?The Florida Written Class E Knowledge Exam consists of 50 multiple-choice questions. You will have 60 minutes to complete the exam per State of Florida rules. You will have only one attempt to pass the exam. You can take the exam up to 3 times online, but additional fees will apply for each extra exam.
What does class E mean?CLASS E: Any non-commercial motor vehicles with Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) less than 26,001 pounds, including passenger cars, 15 passenger vans including the driver, trucks or recreational vehicles and two or three wheel motor vehicles 50 cc or less, such as mopeds or small scooters.
