"The store had a deal on those pre-packaged flavored turkey tenderloins, so I picked up a package to experiment with. This was put together with ingredients I had on hand. The tenderloins I got were the Jennie-O Roast Turkey flavor ones, but I think it would work well with plain tenderloins or a turkey breast as well. Also probably good with pork roasts and chicken parts. I didn't salt the turkey because it was pre-flavored, but plain turkey could probably use some salt. I'm guessing on the amount of cranberry sauce, as I used about 3/4 of a can of whole berry sauce. It's a yummy fall dish, though, and would be nice for Thanksgiving, too!"

Why turkey tenderloin instead of turkey breast?
You could absolutely use a turkey breast in this recipe if you wanted to, but I like using turkey tenderloin because it’s boneless, skinless and the most tender part of the turkey.
Tips for Cooking Turkey Tenderloin in the Slow Cooker
Turkey tenderloins cook quickly because they’re so low in fat, so this is a recipe that should be started mid-day or early afternoon instead of first thing in the morning.
Set the crock pot temperature to low.
Turkey should be cooked to an internal temperature of at least 165 degrees.
Keep in mind slow cookers vary in cooking performance, so keep an eye on the turkey and rice so it doesn’t dry out.
Slice into medallions for serving.
