I received a beat-up box with a stick on it that said "Thanks to you, this product has a second life." The filters inside were sealed in individual plastic sleeves and seem fine, but nowhere in the listing was I informed I would be getting a box that was... previously owned, I guess? Super weird, and not exactly what you want to see on a product that is carrying water directly into your mouth. I haven't used these ones yet but I have been using the one that came with my Brita filter water bottle and it works great, the filter doesn't give the water any strange flavours and is the same as these filters. It fits perfectly into my two Brita bottles, one soft (sport) and one hard. This means I'm also ingesting activated charcoal with my water which is disappointing. Thought the first filter was maybe a dud so I tried another but had the same result.
