Additional product information and recommendationsYour viewsMore to considerSimilar itemsFeatured ProductsGuest Ratings & ReviewsDisclaimerWhat is the black stuff in my electric toothbrush head? The accumulated water and protein-laden water drips down and there are enough nutrients in that water to allow bacteria and mold to grow [sic]. Which all sounds about right: Gunk and mold thrive wherever water sits stagnant—say, the base of the toothbrush, or where the head is attached.
How do I know which Sonicare head to buy?The click-on brush head is the standard brush head and fits most of our Sonicare rechargeable toothbrushes.. The screw-on brush head is compatible with the old Sonicare Essence models.. The Philips One brush head is only compatible with the Philips One.. Are all Philips Sonicare toothbrush heads the same size?(Note: Both the Standard and Compact versions of the For Kids are already smaller in size than Sonicare “adult” brush heads.) Sonicare states that the G3 Premium Gum Care head is smaller in size than its other “adult” heads. The screw-on E-Series head comes in both Compact and Standard “adult” sizes.
Is the Sonicare DiamondClean worth it?If you're looking to invest in a premium electric toothbrush and are interested in improving your oral hygiene, the Philips Sonicare DiamondClean 9000 is really worth it. You get an elegant device that's efficiently designed to provide an in-depth clean, and the companion app is useful to show you your brushing habits.
How often should you replace your Sonicare head?It is recommended to replace your Philips Sonicare Brush Head every three months of normal use (brushing twice a day) or when the blue indicator bristles wear out. One reason is because brush heads can get weary and will be less effective in removing plague.
